In February of 2000, Bob Ketrow
and Chris Berry (the K & B) decided to brainstorm an idea to fill a
niche in the St. Louis Metro-East area and open a truck repair company
targeting concrete mixer and boom trucks.
Bob & Chris took
their combined 40 years of experience working with heavy trucks and in
August of 2000, K & B Truck Repair opened. To
their amazement the business took off and expanded from their original
plan and target audience.
Today, K & B Truck Repair has 14 full-time ASE
certified truck technicians, five service trucks, and has recently
opened a second facility to meet the growing demand.
Also to help with the demand K & B has expanded its hours to 22 hour days.
K & B has a full array of computer diagnostics, the latest OEM software, and the most
recent state of the art technology to service any truck.
Reasonable rates and quality,
punctual work have fueled the growing business. Aside from new
customers, a lot of the increased business comes from satisfied repeat
customers. Several local businesses and regional affiliates use
K & B
Truck Repair for their fleet maintenance.
